Membership of the AECLJ, and therefore attendance at the annual conference is open to judges or persons acting in a judicial capacity who are concerned with the application of competition law, whether in a specialist context or as part of general domestic law. It is also available to courts or national judicial associations. Membership fees are annual and are currently set at €50 for individual membership and €500 for institutional membership.
There are currently over 200 individual judges from across the European Union in the AECLJ membership database. Members include judges from all levels of the judiciary including first instance judges specialising in competition or commercial cases, administrative law judges as well as judges of supreme or appellate civil courts. The activities of the AECLJ are also supported by the judges of the European Court of Justice and the Court of First Instance.
